Calling all Stay at Home Moms: NEW Class time! Photo Decor Blocks

Hi Everyone
I'm not really sure how the best way to take pictures of these blocks are, not sure if this was it.  I've just stacked them all up and kept spinning them.    Anyways, these are the SU! new Decor Blocks, I've designed these ones for a private pre-book class for Calli and her friends tomorrow night.  I liked them so much that I'm going to offer them up for a class at my house as well!
This is going to be the first time that I will be offering a week day, day time class. You are welcome to bring your children, I do have a TV area in my Inkedstamper studio where your kiddo's can watch a movie while you assemble your gorgeous blocks.  So you will be able to see them at all times.  If you need to sneak out early to go get your older children; no problem, as all your supplies are pre-cut and bagged, you can just take them with you. Just make sure you stamp what you need before you leave.
Class will include 4 blocks, Inspriration Decor Elements(black, small) Bride & Groom paper cut, a baggie with all embellishments & a glue stick, all for only $51; or if you are one of my Monthly Club Members, $44.  Let me do all the cutting for you, the hardest part of this project was the prepping, and YOU won't have to do it! I will!  Class will be Wednesday May 12 with the choice of 2 times: 1:00-3:30 or 6:30-9.  Booking  with payment is dued by April 18.

Birthday Frame

Hi Everyone

I made this frame last week, but just could not find the time to post! So here it is! This is for my niece’s birthday; she lives in Australia. Her Mom was telling me she is very big on “family” at the moment so I thought a cute cousin frame would be a good idea! I did want to take a picture of my boys holding a Happy Birthday sign, but Ethan is very difficult about pictures at the moment....he pulls this flat face smile that drives me NUTS! So instead I put this cute on in where they were just naturally giggling! The picture of the frame is all covered in shadows, sorry!

Supplies

Frame

Sweet Peas DSP, sanded on corners with sanding block and distressed with dauber and Taken with Teal ink

Sweet Pea flower felts

Bird punch with Taken with Teal C/S

Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon

Linen Thread and white C/S for tag; tag corner punch, thickers

Wahoo! Twisted Sketches!

Hi Everyone
A few posts ago I mentioned that I was trying to get on the card design team for Twisted Sketches and I did it! WAHOO!  You can see my card here at the origional post.  How it works is every Saturday a new sketch will come out; you will have one week to play along.  The sketch will also have a new twist to it every week; for example the one I did to apply, the twist was "transparent"...take it any way you want. Me, I just put clear dots on my card.
Make sure you check out the site and play along.  Check back tomorrow, I'm hoping to get my Photo Blocks posted! SO little time, I'm running around like a headless chicken!

Girlie Page

Hi Everyone

Sorry I’ve been not posting as much lately; I’m testing for my yellow belt in karate tonight, so I’ve been busy practicing!
So today I’ll just get right to the point! This picture is the one given to me from SU! from the Awards Night last summer when I won #2 Rising Star in Canada. Not the greatest picture of me, but oh well, what can ya do!
Supplies

Paper: Sweet Pea DSP, Sending Love DSP (butterflies), So Saffron 12x12, Taken with Teal, Rose Red

Ink: Rose Red, Versa Mark

Stamps: Friends 24/7

Embellishments: Pretties kit, Beautiful Wings Embosslit (exclusive to SU!), clear embossing powder, Scallop edge punch Non-SU! chipboard, rhinestone title, glitter spray, masks

Direction: Lay masks on DSP and spritz, remove and let dry. Stamp damask pattern from Friends 24/4 in Rose Red onto the So Saffron C/S, punch scallop edge, distress with dauber and crumple c/s; attach down leaving right corner unattached; spray right corner with water or stampin’ mist, and gather. Use a bit of Sticky Strip behind gather to hold it in place. Load a pin from the Pretties Kit up with the pearls and beads includes and poke through your paper. Take the large flower from the Pretties Kit, stamp with damask, cover with Versa Mark then Clear Embossing Powder and heat set with Heat Tool; this will give your flower a cool plastic look. Cut out your butterflies with Sending Love DSP, it’s hard to see in the photo, but this dsp is actually glittered, which makes so crazy cute butterflies!

Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget Sale a Bration is ending this month. Why not order the Pretties Kit for $41.95(includes 390 pieces!!);Beautiful Wings Embosslet $15.95; and the Sending Love DSP (glittered!) $15.95. That would bring you to $73.85 then you can choose a FREE SAB item!!

Hi Everyone
Here is a cute little door hanger I made on Friday. All I did was decorate one of the chip board Birds from the mini with my fav paper du jour, Sweet Pea DSP; added a wing from the On Board So Tweet chipboard which is actually the bird from that set!  Then I just added a pink rhinestone brad for its eye and some Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon tied together with Linen Thread and finished it off with a saffron brad from Latte buttons.
Don't miss out on ordering from the Mini, it's only active untill the end of April, and don't forget Sale a Bration is almost over with your chance to earn Free SU!.

Cutie Patootie Chocolate Bunny Basket

Hi Everyone

Told you I'd post today too, did you believe me? LOL! Ok, I made this cute little Easter Basket last week, but I can not take credit for it! I found the instructions HERE how to make the actual basket; which is with the Big Shot and the Scallop Sqare Die. Ridiculously EASY! I just made my design different. I used the Chocolate Bunny from the back of the mini...I call him the Chocolate Chip Bunny though! He is stamped with Choc Chip Ink onto Choc Chip paper; tied some linen thread and a Latta Button around him to dress him up! Shoved in some tissue paper and filled him with Cadbury mini eggs. I might add, my basket has no eggs in it...not my children..not even my husband is to blame, for once~! BUT it was ME...I have a weekness for those eggs, huge weekness, I ate the GAINT bag almost all to myself!!! Of course I then gave my husband trouble for bringing it home! LOL!

If you would like to make these cuties, I have 2 dates open the last week of March, the 29 & 31, just contact me to book them and I'll show you how easy they are.

Sweet Pea Frame

Hi Everyone
This is VERY ODD, I had a write up with this and now it is just gone! WIERD! Any hoo....in a short re-cap, I'm out of routine as the hubs was sick and home all week, which blew my schedule...hence the lack of posts! So as he is back at work today, I have time to post.
Here is a cutie frame I made last week with a frame I found at HomeSence.  I've been thinking about a frame like this for awhile now; I actually found one to buy for $25 but I was just too cheap that day, so when I found this on for $8, I was all over it! The design I had in my head, well it's still there! LOL!  This one I made, I made with 90% inspiration from this months Stampin Success; which is a magazine SU! demo's get every month for FREE!  SUPER EASY!  All I used was SU!'s AWESOME Sweet Pea DSP and matching Sweet Pea Stitched Felts! That's it! If you click on the picture to make it larger, you will see I placed felt flowers over top of the pattered papers flowers.  How cute and simple is this! By the time my pictures were done being printed off my printer, I already finished the frame! Literally a 5 min project! SWEET!
Don't miss out on ordering this FAB pack of paper ($32.95/48sheets, which works out to 68cents/sheet!!!!!!) and the matching felts for only $11.95/52 pieces! They are both only available until April 30. If you order them in March, you'll only be $20 away from a FREE SAB item! So I suggest you order the Sweet Pea DSP                          $32.95
Sweet Pea Stiched Felts              $11.95
Sending Love Epoxy brads(pink) $6.95
Scallop Trim Corner Punch          $13.95
Total                                           $65.60
FREE SALE A BRATION ITEM!!! My suggestion is the NEW Scallop Edge punch, value $22.95!
Thanks for stopping by...check back tomorrow for a cute Easter Basket made with the Scallop Square die.

NEVER BUY FROM BEACHCOMBER HOME FURNISHING

OK! This has nothing to do about scrappin' and a lot to do with RANTING! I'm livid at the moment.  I bought this table 3 weeks ago from Beachcomber home furnishing here in Edmonton, and the knots are all popped out and cracked and a sticker lable got stuck on it and pulled the finish right off!  I phoned the company and explained to them what's up, they asked me to email over pictures, I did.  Did not hear a thing back from them for 2 days;phoned twice more, finally got an email back...not a phone call an EMAIL! And basically said here is a number of a furniture repair guy, fix it your self.  I phoned back, the guy was busy and I left a message saying I would like him to PHONE me...nope, he emailed me again said too bad.  So I phoned him and he said I should not have had a sticker near the table, too bad I ruined it, should have bought a more expensive tabel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  A) the table was NOT cheap, I got it on sale for a better price but by no means was is pennies! B) That is NOT the point, it is CRAP QUALITY! ARG!!!!! I AM SOOO ANGRY and I'm still stuck with the table so all I can do is VENT and spit on their name by letting everyone know how crap they are to deal with...they have MY money, so now they just don't care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So pass this along to all you know who are buying furniture, do not buy from BEACHCOMBER......the do not  care about their customers...quick sale then bugger off with you!!!  If I ran my business like that, pretty sure I would not have my amazing loyal customers who keep returning, and refering me!! So to all of you THANK YOU!
OK RANT DONE!
Hope you have a better day then me!

Arr: Twistedsketch

Hi Everyone

Ok, I here is the LO I did for the Twistedsketch, sketch #38 challenge. This is with Ethan’s Halloween pics; I’ve already digitally scrapped these, but thought I’d do a traditional page too. I’m caught up with my pics so if I want to scrap, I’m re-doing pics! For all of you who are far beyond catching up, I highly recommend My Digital Studio...and NO it is not cheating! I’ve heard that from SO many people, and to tell the truth I thought that before I tried it as well! It can be just as challenging as traditional scrappin’, or you can use the template SU! provides to speed it along, or you can combine the two; design your own page but use SU! picture LO.
OK back to the page

Ink: Basic Grey, Craft Black

We Believe

Hi Everyone
I’ve got some posting to catch up on, I know I said I’d post the page I made for Twistedsketches on Saturday, but I never got around to it. I will! Tomorrow, promise! But for today’s post, I wanted to post my Olympic page. I waited till after the closing ceremonies to finish it up. Like all other Canadians...and American’s, I was glued to my TV watching the Hockey Finals with my family...WOW, what a game!!!!!! What a GOLD!!!! WAHOO! I am so proud of all the Canadian Athletes right now! Not only did we win the most Gold medals for a Hosting team, but we won most Gold Medals EVER! Seriously, that is so cool! I am proud to be a Canadian!!! As the theme for the Olympic here in Canada was “I Believe”, my LO was inspired by that, except I changed it to “WE believe”. I loved this Olympics; it has been my favourite to date for sure. One reason is because it just really brought everyone together, the whole country was in Olympic mood, and so patriotic! This has been the first Olympics my boys have been old enough to watch, and I loved that they watched them with me every day! The men’s hockey finals were just AMAZING to watch, I had my whole family over both games and it was great!
OK...onto the LO! I took inspiration from a sketch found HERE on Valerie Salmons blog
Paper: Bride DSP (inked red with brayer), Sending Love DSP, Night and Day (retired, but still on MDS), Gold, Basic Black, Real Red, Silver C/S, Bronze (retired).
Accessories: #2 Circle Die, Fire Rhinestone, Organza Ribbon (inked with Pacific Blue, retired), letter Thickers
You can't see on the picture the layer of the medals, the gold is popped up extra with excess rubber that comes around the stamps, the silver is with dimensionals, and the bronze is flat.

Thanks for stopping by...show your love for Canada and leave a Canada Shout out here!
